- April-May & September-November 1997: Bryan Duncan, Crystal
Lewis and Anointed visit 40 U.S. cities on the "Big Voice Tour."
- March-April 1997: Bryan reports from Major League Baseball's
spring training in Florida and Arizona.
- February 1997: Bryan hosts the Blue Skies Softball game
featuring top Christian artists, Major League Baseball players and
other professional Christian athletes at Lakeland Tigers Stadium
in Lakeland Florida. Bryan hosts an all-star line-up at the Blue
Skies Benefit Concert at The Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland,
Florida.
- January 1997: Bryan sings at the 1997 NHL All-Star Chapel.
- January 1997: Myrrh Records releases Blue Skies to rave
reviews.
- December 1996: Bryan Duncan And Choir And Orchestra -
Christmas is Jesus Tour continues for a second year. Sandi Patty
welcomes Bryan as a special guest on her Christmas television
special.
- May 1996: Myrrh Records releases Quiet Prayers: My Utmost For
His Highest, the first solo project in the Utmost series. It is
also Bryan's first solely worship music album., and is distinctly
different in its production and recording. CCM calls it "simply
splendid."
