Bryan's Musical Timeline,
1989-93
- September 1993: Launch of the Bryan Duncan & Band Mercy
Alive! Tour to 40 cities in the USA.
- October 1992: Mercy, Bryan's second album with Myrrh/Epic, is
released. Produced by San Posthuma with arrangements and
co-writing by Michael O'Martian & Peter Wolf. The album spawns
four #1 hits and one #2 hit: Love Takes Time (AC & CHR #1),
You Don't Leave Me Lonely (AC #1), Into My Heart (CHR #1), When It
Comes To Love (AC #1), and Step By Step (CHR #2).
- September 1990: Myrrh releases The Anonymous Confessions of a
Lunatic Friend. The album realizes unprecedented radio charting:
We All Need (AC #1), Ain't No Stoppin' (CHR #1), Blessed Are The
Tears (AC #1), I Love You With My Life (AC #1).
- December 1989: Myrrh Filmworks releases a retail video A Dose
of Strong Medicine, including videos of the songs Don't Ya Wanna
Rap? and Stand In My Place as well as a documentary of Bryan's
trip to Europe.
- April 1989: Modern Art Records releases Strong Medicine. It
claims the #16 spot on the 1989 Year End Sales Chart. Several
songs chart well at radio: Strong Medicine (AC #2), Let Me Be
Broken (CHR #4, ROCK #24), Don't Ya Wanna Rap? (CHR #7), Stand In
My Place (AC #5, CHR #5), Wonderful (AC #30).
